About Us

Abergavenny Orchestral Society is said to be over 150 years old and we now play under the title Abergavenny Symphony Orchestra. We are a community orchestra with members of all ages from 15 to 80+ who come from a 40 mile radius! We play interesting programmes and enjoy our rehearsals which are focussed towards performing our 3 concerts per year as musically as possible.

We rehearse on Sunday evenings, 6.30 – 9.00 pm at the Angel Hotel, Cross Street, Abergavenny. Rehearsals always include a break to make a welcome visit to the bar.
