Friends
Our Friends scheme enables us to benefit from your financial support and to involve you with the Society. For a subscription of £15 per annum you will not only be making a valuable contribution but you will receive Newsletters giving details of forthcoming concerts and other orchestra news, and also be invited to a summer evening of chamber music to meet the players and other Friends in an informal atmosphere.

Email Mailing List
The Friends mailing list is for anyone interested in hearing the orchestra play, and will be used for announcements about forthcoming concerts, and occasionally other musical events in the area. Typically this will generate 4 or 5 emails per year. Subscribers are cannot send their own messages on this list. If you would like to subscribe please email us at
Privacy Policy
The list of subscribers is kept private, and cannot be read on the internet, nor is it available to any of the other subscribers. We will not pass your details on to anyone else.
If you wish to remove yourself from the list at any time, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of each email, or contact the secretary to ask us to remove your name.

Back issues of our newsletter are available here to view and print. These files are in pdf format.
If you do not have a pdf reader you can download one for free. Adobe reader is the most commonly used, but it is a huge download. For occasional use we recommend Foxit reader which is a fraction of the size (choose the free version, not the Pro version).
