Mailing Lists

For your convenience we have set up two mailing lists which you can join to receive information about the orchestra.

The Orchestra Members list is used to keep members of the orchestra informed about the day-to-day administrative matters such as rehearsal schedule, change of venue, what to practice this week, etc. Typically this will generate 1 email per week. Members who are subscribed to this list can also send email to the list, and it will be sent out to all the other members automatically, so if you have an important announcement for the whole orchestra, this is a convenient way to send it.

The Friends list is for anyone interested in hearing the orchestra play, and will be used for announcements about forthcoming concerts, and occasionally other musical events in the area. Typically this will generate 1 email per month. Subscribers are not permitted to send their own messages on this list.

Privacy Policy

The list of subscribers to both these mailing list is kept private, and cannot be read on the internet, nor is it available to any of the other subscribers. We will not pass your details on to anyone else.

If you wish to remove yourself from the list at any time, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of each email, or contact the secretary to ask us to remove your name.
